On site
SBL crews build the high voltage lattice towers that carry power out of the Rabigh plant. Galvanized angle sections are laid out and bolted into panels on the ground, craned into position on cast concrete pad foundations, then plumbed and torqued section by section as the tower grows.
Riggers work at height on full fall arrest with a set climbing sequence, a banksman on the crane and an ambulance held on site for every lift.
Because the new line runs beside live circuits, each shift starts with a permit check and an exclusion zone set around the structure.
Each shift starts with a permit check and an exclusion zone.
