On site
Every shift follows the same sequence. Lanes are taken with cones, barriers and advance warning so traffic keeps moving past the site. The surface is saw-cut and milled to a clean edge for the run beneath, then the trench is backfilled, compacted and reinstated in asphalt to the original profile.
The site closes with the markings put back: lane lines, stop bars and pedestrian crossings laid in thermoplastic, kerbs repainted, so the road is handed over finished rather than patched.
Handed over finished, not patched.
