On site
Under the framework agreement, SBL crews install the buried backbone for Tahakom's traffic and telecom systems: micro-trenching, UPVC class 4 duct banks, precast concrete manholes and hand-holes with cast iron covers, cable and rope pulling, and galvanized steel poles set on reinforced concrete foundations.
Every run is encased in concrete and closed with full asphalt reinstatement.
The work runs at night under live traffic along the Al Aziziyah corridor, with lane closures and warning signage to the specifications of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs. Foundation levels are checked with a spirit level before backfill.
The backbone goes in at night, under live traffic.
